Dwight,
If you have the OP1 filter selected, those plots do not look good.
OTOH, if this is a plot of the varible bandwidth filter, then it may just be
a case of trying to set it too wide.
The varaible filter is optimized for CW and while it can be set for a wide
bandwidth, I find that it is much better (and sounds better too) if you keep
the filter passband less than 1800 Hz in width.  I have seen similar
responses with the filter set wide.
