[Elecraft] Stage II testing - no recieve.

Hi
Try squeezing the turns together a little on T5 or if that does not get the
voltage up enough add 2 turns to the red winding.
The peak on L34 is very gentle. If you don't hear it just set the slug about
1.5 turns from the top
You need to redo the S meter cal after the receiver is working.
If the receiver works by injecting a signal at R72 then the problem is most
likely in the low pass filters. Make sure the toroids are stripped and
tinned properly as this is the most common problem.
Make sure jumpers W1 and W6 are installed as well as C114. Try injecting a
signal at W6 and W1 to see if the low pass filter or T-R switch is the
problem.

Subject: [Elecraft] Stage II testing - no recieve.
I've assembled and testing K2 at "Alignment and Test Part II'.
I get only 4.56 volts on R30 max. But the voltage is greater than 1.5 and
up to 5.5 volts on all band tests.
The BFO test result is BFO High Freq: 4917, and BFO Low Freq: 4912.
The PLL Reference Oscillator Range Test - Ref High Freq: 12100, Ref. Low
Freq: 12090 - which seems okay.
In the IF Amplifier Alignment test:
I screw the L43 slug and it makes absolutely no difference.... no peaks at
all.
I did notice that the Sig Strength meter seems to be stuck on S6 with the rf
gain turned up max. This is odd since I performed the S_LO and S_HI
calibration at stage I alignment.
If I connect an antenna to the back of the rig I hear no difference...
absolutely nothing being rx'ed in the rig.
I've checked all my handiwork and everthing seems to be in order. Any
suggestions about where I can begin to look to fix the problem?
Cheers,
Dave.
