The K2 was on the market first. Doesn't mean it was designed first......!

Yep.

Note that the Sierra doesn't offer a stock 10 meter band module.

Why ruin the surprise? You KNOW it's going to be something really sweet, so 
what's the rush?

I am reminded of the film '60s Charlton Heston film about Michelango where 
he's painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and the pope keeps asking him 
"when will you be finished?"

I can imagine:

- a genuine Elecraft "remoteable" antenna tuner
- K2 in a bigger case that lets you have all the options in one box (100W, 
tuner, battery, etc.)
- Transverters
- I/O box for control of remote devices
- QSK T/R adapter so you can use your own homebrew external power amplifier 
with the K2
- SWL receiver or adapter
- DSP unit

Time will tell!
