Just got a call from Tom: he's coming home tomorrow!

Tom had a very close call, and we're darn lucky to still have him. He said that
all those cards, letters, and e-mails are what kept him going, and to pass on
his sincere thanks to everyone. In fact he broke the record for personal e-mail
at the hospital by a factor of about 5. All those good vibes from his friends
surely didn't hurt.

I'm sure Tom will be back to say hello himself soon, but he asked that I let
everyone know that he's OK.
