Hallo!
The rules for the EQP have several problems and they I feel be improved upon. Despite these weaknesses, I would like to thank the Pat and Jerry, and all participents for a wonderful time.
There are various quirks, which I assume are unintended, e.g. you get a bonus for at least one QSO with battery power and are not allowed to recharge during the contest. In other words, do your first qso with battery power, get 25 bonus points and then turn on your power supply for the next 23 or so hours but do not recharge your battery at the same time. Also, as has been pointed out by others, "real" QSOs and not just wham, bam, 599 are intended, but not supported by the rules. With this in mind I would like to suggest changing the rules as follows. I hope these changes will clear up some of the unwanted quirks without damaging the fun, look and feel of the EQP
