Static control methods depend on your kit building environment.  If your
home or site of building is at the coast with 60 per cent relative humidity
or 90 per cent most of the time, you will not have a static buildup problem.
But if you live in Phoenix or El Paso in the dry desert, you will have a
problem as you will if you live in Greenland, (you REALLY have a static
build up problem).

a mat and wrist strap and common sense will take care of 99 per cent of any
problem if you are working in a cold dry climate.
