...picture this...
..thought I'd pop in & out of the EQP today to have some fun....especially
seeing we had a MINUS 50 dC windchill last night and things are still
mighty COLD here....so I did a few SSB contacts...moved to 15 mtrs and did
another SSB contact
...moved down to the CW portion of 15....oh, there's a station in the
EQP...nice signal too...N...6...K...R.....ok....rst, serial is 1CA...hmmm
must have missed the rest of it...nr?...serial is 1....huh?... where's the
rest of it?....(not realizing my brain has slipped into  freeze-frame
mode)...ask agn for rpt.....and get 1...send ser?...and get 1..send nr
1?...rcv 1 QSL.......EEEYERKA!...(face is now slipping rapidly through all
the shades of red towards the deepest red possible...OMG IT'S WAYNE AND HE
IS #1!....I guess I've re-qualified for my SOC number eh!?...

...it's still fun!.....thanks for your patience Wayne while waiting for my
brain to thaw out eh!?!....

...oh, there's Wayne again on 15 cw...21.059....I should........naw, the
poor fella's been through enough already....I'll just slip away...
