This "lefty" will also recommend using your right hand. It is handy to
be able to make notes without taking your hand away from the key. 

In the long past, there were actually "bugs" made for lefties - with the
dot and dash functions reversed. I'm glad I was never seduced into using
one! 

And, of course, if you want to "try" the paddles at another station, you
won't need to rearrange everything on the operating desk to get to them.

Absolutely use your right hand. Not having to put down the pencil is 
one the very rare advantages us leftys have.
