[Elecraft] kat100 operational questions

ok my kat100 is done just gotta go back and redo one of my serial =
cables, instead of the male pins i slipped in a female doh!!!.  my =
question is operating use of the kat.  i assume if i use my k2 without =
the kat2 tuner i go from the bnc to rf in so239 and i have my choice of =
2 antennas.  but whats the bnc aux rf jack between the power and control =
connectors used for? an example would be awsome.  i learn better by doin =
and looking at pictures and diagrams than just reading a bunch of words. =
 also if anyone can show me a website or explain to me exactly how you =
make an end fed ramdom wire im always hearing bout. now that i have a =
tuner i wanna try it out.  the only antennas ive made are simple =
dipoles.  thnx very much for whoever responds.  eric and wayne love the =
new toy!
