[Elecraft] Great Little Radio

I built the K1 (#00913) in 2001. I had so much fun building it that I 
ordered the K2 and never really used the K1. I've been on vacation this 
week so I've been taking the K1 with a battery out to a State Park near 
my home (Ridley Creek State Park) and have been really enjoying it. It 
is really a great little radio. I use it with the MP-1 ant mounted to a 
metal barbecue mounted in the ground. I just wish I worked as well as 
the radio. I've been a ham for about 14 years and have never been good 
at CW but I'm determined to get up to speed and learn to relax when in a 
QSO. It is amazing what can be done with 5 watts and a  sub optimal ant.
