Definitely, George!   The Field Day last year, would not have gotten any 10m
contacts with a conventional dipole at near optimum elevation above earth ,
even on the hill where it was located.   Only on the loop were we able to
pull out 36 signals.

That was a strange band Sat. afternoon that year.   I am uneasy how it will
be this year given the up and down band conditions of last month plus, and
same for 15m.
Oh well, that is why we went to a LOT more wire!
