[Elecraft] OT: Sloper Dipole Question

Possibly no one will hear the difference between grounding the lower side of
the sloper dipole or feeding it center of coax, but the handbooks convention
is to feed the coax to the upper section.  The dipole has to be considered
in the context of what surrounds it when it is brought closer to earth by
sloping it on one or both ends.  The dipole usually is close enough to
ground to be a system, with its performance subject to coupling to nearby
objects, its support, shrubs and trees.
