[Elecraft] Front Pannel bord (R16, R15)???

Hi Group
well I have got my control bord built and all seams ok. I started 
building the Front Pannel bord just a while ago. I got to the part 
where you install two resistors on the back side of the board (R16, 
R15) and solder them on the back of the board. 

#1:
I first soldered them on the front side of the bord. I put them 
through from the back then dumbly flipped the bord over and 
soldered them. I knew that I was supposed to solder them on the 
back side but had a little brain glitch. So I wicked off the solder and 
then re soldered them from the back. all and all that went ok. I then 
cleaned up the front with a dab of Isopropyl alcohol. So, is this 
good or bad or what have I done?

#2:
on these same two resistors are the inside pad's connected? I tried 
to tell but I am just not sure now that they are soldered. I was not 
able to solder them without the solder drifting from one to the other. 
and I thought that I would ask before trying to wick them off all over 
again and clean up my mess. So how bad have I mucked this up?
