Hmm.  I don't get that noise.  I wonder if it could be your computer or
computer monitor sending garbage back to the K2?  Occasionally I have
had computer hash that roughly resembled what you describe.  If so,
ferite chokes on the cables might help.

When I use K2remote, and activate the S meter, I get a noise in the
speaker
of my K2 that sounds like the old Russian 20m woodpecker.  (You younger
guys
won't remember that)  Any suggestions as to what would cause this noise?

only occurs when I use K2remote.
