Hi Andy:
I'm reasonably sure that you absolutely DO have to "calibrate" tPA. Follow
the instructions in the KPA100 manual to set it. I don't recall seeing
anything saying you no longer have to calibrate it.
Also... the fan will go into LOW speed only if you have the menu setting on
"lo hi". In that setting it runs continuously in low speed until the heat
sink temp reaches the switch point to turn on HIGH speed. If fan setting is
in the normal setting, then the fan stays OFF until the switch point is
reached when it turns on to HIGH speed.
