I remember seeing that note and wondering about it. Now I
understand. Thanks for clearing it up.

After I wrote that I remembered the manual stating that tPA calibration
was not supported on later firmware. The 32C was what I saw after
the heat sink had cooled down a bit -- now I realize that it was probably
just telling me the current PA temp, not the value that I had set
during alignment (which apparently I didn't need to do).
I don't recall the fan having gone into low speed mode first; I had
the headphones on so I might not have heard. I'll listen for it next
time.
I can't say enough good things about this rig. I've owned piles of
different rigs in the past and this is by far the best. I had a blast
putting it together (never built a kit before) and even more fun
operating it. Developing it is a huge accomplishment so congrats
to you and Eric (and thanks). I've sold my other rigs now; it's all I
need (well, this and my K1...)
