[Elecraft] Is my K2 XMIT Current High?

Hi all:  We are in the Alignment and Test, Part III, 40 Meter
Transmitter Alignment.  This is a "version A" K2.  Current at 5 watts
transmit power is supposed to be 1.3 to 1.6 amps.  We have 1.7.

Current at 10 watts is supposed to be 1.8 to 2 amps. We have 2.2 amps.
The instructions send you to troubleshooting if the current is "much
higher than 1.6 amps" or "much higher than 2.0 amps".  

Are 1.7 and 2.2 "much higher" or within the range of normal?  Thanks de
