The Rev D and E manuals already assume Rev 2 firmware so that
information is for reference.

It's best to just follow the K2 instructions.  Near the end of the
Front Panel and RF board construction, there are instructions to
install certain parts from a few of the options if you plan to install
the options.  You will also be installing jumpers as if you did not
have these options. Later, when you install the options, you remove the
jumpers.
