[Elecraft] KDSP2 Anomolies

I was operating USB on 17 meters today with a 1.4:1 SWR.  I don't know if the 
SWR had anything to do with the K2 saying that the KDSP2 was NOT INSTALLED 
after leaving the rig on and returning after about 2 hours and noticing the 
anomolie.  I turned the K2 and power supply off, and after a few minutes I turned 
it back on and the KDSP2 worked normally.  I tried to duplicate the conditions 
on 17 meters, but couldn't get the KDSP2 to act up.  This is the first time I 
have experienced this and wonder if something might be wrong.  I also hear 
some crackling on the received SSB audio with the KDSP2 on but with the noise 
reduction and notch OFF.  Sometimes its barely detectable and other times its 
definitely there.  I would appreciate any thoughts on this.  Roy  W4WFB
