[Elecraft] What is "good quality coax"

Hello elecrafters,
Take a look at  www.steckerprofi.com/kabeldat.htm

According to that page, RG58/CU has a loss of 16.1 db per 100m @ 100Mhz.
I don�t think there is much loss @ 7Mhz for 20 meters  of cable.

To check the loss, connect a dummyload & wattmeter to your tx
using a very short cable and note the reading of your wattmeter.
Then connect your long cable to the tx, connect the wattmeter &
dummyload to the other end of the cable and again note the power.
Be happy with what you just saw. If not:

Switch on your calculator, scratch your head (how do I calculate
loss?) and voila.

Forgive me , I really don�t remember the formula  :-[
But you sure will find it somewhere in the web.
