[Elecraft] ELECRAFT NET: Reminder for Sunday @2000z 17m

Thank you,
I did run an Elecraft CW net last evening at 0100 z and got three check ins on 14050 kHz. VE1GRB was number one from Nova Scotia, W0CZ was number two from
North Dakota, and N5IB was number three from Louisiana. I had a ball while making more than my share of mistakes. The band was so so but the operators I worked
were patient, understanding, and appreciative. Please folks give me some guidance and help me get this net off the ground. Next week I want to try for more check
ins and see if we can relay a few folks in. I won't use QN codes at first nor too many prosigns. I want to keep the speed down too so none of us rookies gets blown
out of the water. The net was a directed one taking check ins and then asking for comments. I got two folks' comments but was unable to catch what W0CZ had to
say. He was under my noise floor and I had to ask him to repeat his call sign over and over until I could catch it but he was patient with me (Thanks Ken!!). I am
tempted to start two different nets: one at 0100 z using 40 or 80 meters run by local NCS to get check ins and then another net at 0130 or 0200 z on 20 meters to
collect all the data from the group of local NCS and catch any more stations who wish to check in. Please comment or correct me.
Kevin. KD5ONS (net control operator fifth class)
