The "Arrow" commands are most likely not being "delivered" to the window
controls in the current state. The control (Windozeeese for just about any
object, button, dialog, checkbox, radio button, etc.) may need to have the
"focus".

Some programs trap the windows messages delivered to the "wrong" control and
pass them to the "right" control, some don't. Some programs trap the windows
messages (all input actions are rendered as a Windows Message) for ALL
windows and act on them regardless of who has the focus.

I'd select the application (K2 Remote), and tab around. Watch when the
"slider" gets the focus (it's presentation should change subtlely), and then
try your knob. It ought to work in that state. A mouse click will set the
focus, but might also do something.

Also, do the "real" arrow keys on the keyboard work? The setup(s) (focus
wise) in which they work should be the same as for the knob.
