Sounds like a plan. I can work with my K2/100 at around 12-15 wpm from Oregon. I have a G5RV at around 45 feet which works pretty well. 20 meters and 40
meters are good for me but I don't know how well the G5RV tunes on 30 meters. Last night the 20 meters beacons (14100 kHz) were coming in very well here in
Oregon. I was writing software at the time so was not catching the call signs. I was able to hear all four tones on four or five of them. I think a number of
regional nets would work out great. I'll call on 20 meters at 0100 z tomorrow. I'll take checkins and then run through the list for comments. After that we can take
more checkins or people can split off for their own QSOs and I'll close the net.
