I vote for 20/30m in the evening.

My initial thoughts were something like 20m at 0100z and 30m at 0200z. Maybe 2
kHz above the QRP calling frequency (14062/10108) +(1-2)kHz for QRM.

While we're at it, we could add 40m at 0300z (7042-7044) as a third option. You
never know how the bands will vary from day to day and week to week.

I'd volunteer to call except that my K2 is waiting for a replacement X1 (flaky
PLL Ref Osc) and my apartment antenna is a definite compromise antenna (full
wave loop on 12m inside the apartment fed with speaker wire).

Now we just need to decide what day would be good? I vote that we try it this
Friday evening for starters and work it out from there.

It might be a good idea if we had a few operators around the country that could
collect and relay check-ins. Maybe someone in the NW (WA/OR/ID), someone in
S.Cal/AZ, someone in the Midwest (KS/MO/NE), someone in the SE
(NC/SC/GA/FL/AL), and someone in the Northeast - all with 100W capability and
at least a dipole antenna.
