My antenna is 125 ft center fed with 44 ft of 450 ohm ladder line to a mfj
w9inn remote balun and 10 feet of 9913 to the shack. My internal tuners in
my K1 (on appropriate bands) and my TS-570dg tune it 160 meters through 10
meters. I can also use the mfj-986 with it. It is a sweet antenna, I have
competed in pile-ups on 20 meters with my k1 and got through with 599
reports from the dx stations. Hope this information is of benefit.

There is an article on the web about somebody's antenna that is just an
80-meter dipole fed with 90 feet of 450 ohm line, and then he puts in
additional lengths of line to match it on different bands. It turns out
that 100 feet of 450 ohm line is within 10% of the optimum length on all
