Howdy Folks,
Saturday at 6 PM PDT (Sunday at 0100 z) I will run the Elecraft CW Net on 20 meters 14050 kHz or if that's busy I'll move up until I find a spot for us to use. If you
would like to check in without comments just add QRU.
Then at 7 PM PDT (Sunday at 0200 z) I will start at 7050 kHz and move up until I find an open spot, avoiding the Canadian SSB net on 7055 kHz.
During each of these nets I'll ask a station to call for check ins. Just relay them back and we'll see how many folks we can gather. Last week this netted us more
stations. Then I'll ask the relay station to ask their check ins to relay one step further.
A few notes for this week's net:
I will call the net with Elecraft Net as the name but will alternate this with ECN. If you are called upon to relay check ins feel free to shorten the name to ECN. I will
keep posting this so we don't confuse any one. ECN = Elecraft CW Net
Also, I have an amateur radio related duty on the afternoon of the net. I should be back home in time to run both nets but if there is any problem would someone
please run the net for me? I don't see any problem but things do happen. If anybody wants to volunteer please email me directly or just start the net if I don't get
home in time.
I'll post the results here when my K2 has cooled.
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net control operator 5th class).
