[Elecraft] KAT1 gets going on K1 #1534

Finally got round to building the KAT1 ATU for my K1. Hey this is getting
monotonous!! It worked first time of course no probs. all as the book, well
what did I expect?. I screwed up at one stage and soldered a 3pin female to
the board instead of a 3 pin male (no jibes please) . It took me half an
hour and much sweat to get it off again, in 4 pieces!

Anyhow KAT1 tunes up great on all bands. Hope to get on 20 and 30m now as
well as 40 albeit rather inefficiently with my 40m dipole.

BTW Elecraft should warn you about that scream of chattering relays when it
tunes. The first time I heard it I thought I had a problem didn't expect
that sort of noise.
