[Elecraft] Source for Spectrogram Measurements?

Hi, Folks,

I have been struggling for many hours trying to get some version of
Spectrogram work.  I'm using Version 6 with a broadband noise generator that
is in an impedance bridge I built years ago for antenna analysis.

I get plots that are just noise,  The filter skirts are noise as well as the
passbands being changing noisy shapes, some of which have NO resemblance to
a filter shape.

In some of the narrow bandwidths, I try to set the filter shape in the
position described in Tom's (N0SS) notes he wrote for the Elecraft site.

What sources are you using?  It could be that my old homebrew machine has
much too high a peak-to-average ratio.

Honest, gang, I don't know how to make it work.  I even connected the K2 to
my PC via a 1/8" sound cable to my SoundBlaster sound card "Line In" jack.
Sure should have worked.
