Charles,
I don't see a source for RYCOM either, but recall that these are latching
relays.  Could it be that the capacitors on that line provide a sufficient
pulse width to set/reset the relays -- maybe so.
Perhaps Wayne can provide us with the right answer when he has a moment to
share.
