I got my Extra way back in 1956, long before "vanity" calls
appeared and went through a variety of calls, since my
family moved a lot. Finally, after settling in 6 land, I
became K6TZX but being an avid CW DXer I kept
batting heads with W6TZD in the pile ups. As soon
as you could send 'em $20 I was otta there!
