[Elecraft] fine rit

first thanks for the many replies to my post, I havent actually found =
any DX yet to try out the split functions yet, and I do have the k2.  =
Another question on RIT. What is the purpose of the fine rit?  I think =
the manual says for tuning in Broadcasts.  Any practical use here?
