[Elecraft] B.I.T.E. suggestion

Hi

I had the same thought. Although I have not done it yet, I ordered some =
of the pin jacks and was going to remove one of the ground loops on the =
RF board (the one near the IO controller). Then if you form a loop with =
a discarded diode lead around the pin jack and solder, then insert the =
leads into the ground test point holes you would have a place to put the =
probe. If and when the RF board is ever upgraded again the ground test =
point could have the holes made larger to install the pin jack.=20

  Another suggestion for something to be added to the next iteration of =
the=20
  K2 RF board, or possibly the next Elecraft KILLER Transceiver...

  snip

  However, IF my assumption made above (not having the tip of the probe=20
  plugged in) is correct, I'd like to see Elecraft add one item to the =
RF=20
  board. This is a GROUNDED socket to accept the tip of the FCTR probe. =
This=20
  having been added to the RF board, one could easily 'store' the FCTR =
probe=20
  in this grounded socket and still be able retain the FCTR probe WITH =
the=20
  K2, so it's available any time it's needed.
