I modified my K2 for 60m at the weekend as per your mods published in SPRAT
except that I used a diode switch to increase the VCO capacitor from a
switch on the rear. This saved drilling a hole in the botton of the cabinet.
Results so far very good. Some fine reorts up ad down the UK despite high
static levels. Nothing heard yet from the US. Its a very good band - useable
when 7mhz is long skip and 3.5 dead.
