[Elecraft] K2 SSB contest operation

SSB delay is way too long at .4 seconds for running them. I agree, Time
needs to be cut in half. I would like times of .2(running) and .4(rag
chewing) seconds.
For CW QSK had to change R17 on the Control Board from 3.3M to 470K. Now the
K2's CW QSK is almost as good as my TS950SDX.

Ya know, Folks,
Foe some reason, I thought I was buying full QSK when I bought the K2. That
may have been an assumption because it was essentially a true CW machine.
Perhaps the return-to-receive delay is to let AGC settle out for no nasty
pops?
There's an opportunity for a REAL contribution - true FULL QSK! I miss it a
LOT.

Having just tried my K2/100 in a contest for the first time, and I was
generally very pleased with it's operation.
The only area that I found really annoying was the minimum available VOX
delay.
A large number of contest stations were well into their reply before my K2
went to receive.
I measured the delay that I have set on my FT1000MP for contests and it is
.2 sec.
Is it possible that in a future firmware release that a VOX delay shorter
than .4 sec be selectable ?
