My K2 is "full QSK" by comparison to any CW rig that I've used. I can =
hear
between characters, which is how I define QSK. Personally, I have no
interest in hearing another station's signal between a series of dits, =
so I
don't set the TR delay that tight.=20
Like most of the other rigs that I've used, if I turn the AGC off and =
the
audio gain up I can hear some pops in the audio. I haven't felt moved to =
dig
into it because they are hardly a nuisance. I usually don't run the =
audio
gain high enough, even with the AGC off, to hear them. With the AGC on, =
it
is, as they like to say, "silky smooth".=20
If yours doesn't act like that, Bill, there's something wrong. If you =
are
only seeing slow return to receive, try adjusting the delay. It's a MENU
command.=20

Ya know, Folks,
Foe some reason, I thought I was buying full QSK when I bought the K2. =
That
may have been an assumption because it was essentially a true CW =
machine.
Perhaps the return-to-receive delay is to let AGC settle out for no =
nasty
pops?
There's an opportunity for a REAL contribution - true FULL QSK! I miss =
it a
LOT.
