Dave, your words "probably" and "almost" above have been bothering me as I 
contemplate ordering a K2.  I would be very upset if I bought one, 
assembled it according to the latest documentation, and then discovered I 
had to rework my brand new unit for some mod which I later discovered was 
not included in the documentation supplied.

Has anyone done any sort of index by serial number which shows which mods 
posted on the reflector have been included in the latest 
documentation?  How do I know which mods are "Elecraft adopted" and which 
are not?

The current manual revision is dated February 16 with an Errata dated March 
12.  I assume I won't need Appendices B & C since they clearly state "Also 
in the main manual".  But Appendices E & F have no applicable date.  Do I 
need them also or are they supplied with the kit?

Do I need to go back through the reflector until February 16 and 
cross-check the documentation to see what has been included before I start 
construction?

Are modifications subsequent to the latest manual revision included with 
the documentation I receive with a new unit?  An example of the latter is 
the PLL Upgrade Rev C dated April 25 which says "If your K2 is not yet 
assembled, make the following changes to the Owner's manual:"  Is this PLL 
documentation supplied with new units?

In this modern age, I don't really understand why the online documentation 
is not kept current.  If the online documentation cannot be kept current, 
at least a modification revision history would be helpful.
