Do you still have the old white trimmer caps installed?

I formerly had this problem with my KFL1-4 board frequently
while I still had the white ceramic temperature UNstable
trimmer caps installed.  I could solve it temporarily by
doing a realignment to restore normal power output, which
would then allow the KAT1 to work properly, but eventually
the problem would come back, most commonly on 20m in my K1.

I finally ordered the replacement blue trimmers and installed
them a year ago.  The improvement was very significant.  I've
only had to touch up the alignment once.  I recommend it greatly,
and if you have the 170 kHz VFO span option, I'd recommend
doubling the size of C10 and CK filter board interstage
capacitors to allow full output across the entire 40m band.
