I don't see any item like that in the latest version of the
K1 manual on the Elecraft site.  But, it would seem logical
that there should be something like that included.

The loose ends of the front panel board were a problem noted
after the first few K1s hit the street.  The front panel
buttons were mushy, as a result, but the very worst part of
the problem was the rattle that one would hear at moderate
or greater speaker volume at certain audio frequencies.

Many of us solved the problem with the foam tape mentioned
by Rich.  It's a highly recommended minor addition to the K1,
if in fact pads were not included with your K1.

I've heard no mention of this problem on the Elecraft list in
more than two years, so I had assumed that Elecraft had begun
including some cushion pads for the FP boards after the first
few hundred K1s.
