[Elecraft] KDSP2 Installed and Happy!!!

Hey Gang,

Got home this evening from the YL's place down in Long Beach and was
pleasantly surprised to find a little box waiting for me at the front
door! Yippie Hurray the KDSP2 is here!!! Problem was though that I'd
been out all weekend looking at new 4 x 4 Trucks as the ol' 76 K5 Blazer
(for sale hint hint ;-) is getting a bit tired (settled on a Toyota
Takoma 4 x 4 loaded) so I ended up going to bed. Now, I'm usually an
early riser, but I woke up about 1 AM and couldn't get back to sleep so
I grabbed that little box of parts and melted some solder! Went together
perfectly and after setting the clock, I proceeded to give it a try.
What a difference! I really like the noise reduction, it made all the
difference on 40 and 80 this evening to the few stations I was copying
on CW and SSB (boy those guys in 5 land on 75 meter phone DO ramble on
;-) Will be a HUGE help in the 40 meter FOX hunts this Winter. Thanks a
bunch to everyone involved for making this available. Sure will increase
the amount of my satisfaction running the K2 from this QTH. Thanks
guys!!!
