All OK.

Bingo!  It was connected to a KAT100 which is not in use now, so it was 
powered down.  Disconnecting the interface cable made it work.  I 
haven't tried it yet, but I bet connecting power to the KAT100 would 
have made it work as well.  Thank you!!!!
