[Elecraft] KDSP2 problem

I just finished my KDSP2.  It passed the initial check, including the 
menu display.  Now that it's buttoned up, however, it does this:

1) Tapping DISPLAY causes it to say "nSTnot i" which I presume is an 
attempt to say "not inST".

2) Further tapping of DISPLAY only brings up the voltage/current display.

3) Holding AFIL, however, does change DSP filters and they do work.

4) Turning the radio on and off doesn't have any effect.

Suggestions?
