I've not heard of anything from Clipperton lately, but it's not
impossible.  Sport fishing boats from San Diego visit the area
regularly, and I'm told they often put people ashore for surf
fishing, so transportation isn't that difficult.  It'd probably be
easy, if time consuming, to do a QRP DXpedition to there, just
piggyback on a fishing trip.  It takes about a week to get there from
San Diego, though.
