This is something which I may have mentioned in the "wish list"
discussion earlier this year. I can't remember... But my idea
was that perhaps Elecraft could do such a noise canceller/phasing
box which is INTEGRATED WITH THE K2 AUXBUS. In other words,
it will be adjustable via the tuning knob (or whatever) and,
more importantly, have memories for each band. Concievably,=20
with such a device, you could tune out (local) noise for each
band and then just recall settings later on - very convenient.
Not to get too far off topic, but here's a guy who's been using
phasing units for many years:

He is a mediumwave ("AM") DXer and hears many, many amazing=20
DX catches by running two antennas and phasing out local
stations to hear the DX on the same frequency underneath.=20
It is astounding. (Your MFJ can do this with some mods, also.
See his site.)
I would think an Elecraft phasing unit would be a great
idea. I filed my comments about the BPL issue but if we are
saddled with that QRM, phasing units could be the only thing
out there to help us.=20
