[Elecraft] VCO problem solved...again

   Just got my K2 last week. Quite impressed with it. Made it to the VCO
test and suffered my first trauma...I looked to this mail list for ideas and
found the post [Elecraft] VCO problem solved...dated Wed, 2 Apr 2003

   I was pretty sure I had wired T5 correctly, but not seeing anything else
wrong I pulled it out. Even though the sodler joints looked good I have
never assemble and installed toriodal inductors before. I rewired and
stripped the leads very carefully and tinned the hell out of them. I put it
back and the rest of the alignment and test part 2 is right on the money.

   Thanks for the great mail list, it would have been a long time before I
had pulled that part otherwise.
