[Elecraft] Power Amp Troubles

Hi, All,

I'm having a strange problem with the power amp in my K2.  When I key =
the radio, the emitter of Q13, the bias amp, goes to minus 2.2 volts!  =
Not much power dribbles out the output spigot that way.  I haven't =
figured out why, yet.  I did get my filters all tweaked up in beautiful =
form, though with a new secret method.

Has anyone seen this kind of odd behavior in the bias circuits?  How did =
you fix it, if you did?  Gotta be bad solder causing asymmetry.  As we =
all recall, asymmetry creates a DC value, and that shifts bias.  The old =
tube guys should ring with that one.
