[Elecraft] mobile K2, Convair and the Utah Convention

My K2 is mobile 100% of the time.  My XYL (KB4FFO) and I are fulltime Rvers.
Our K2 has never been in a fixed foundation house, so running it mobile
would seem to be not a big problem.  The only home built rig I ever had a
problem with was a synthesizer I built for a two meter rig once that would
simply go way off frequency when I hit a bump!

Ron, my father worked for Convair back in the late 50s when we lived in San
Diego.  While he was not a ham, he might have run into some of you guys.

I may have an Elecraft booth at the Utah State ARRL convention this coming
weekend.  I am still trading emails with Lisa to get the details ironed out,
but if any of you are going to attend, I could use some help in the
afternoon (after 2 pm) as I have to be back at our campground by 3.
