Edward,

A new control board would likely be a bit of overkill unless you have
mounted only a few components.  Just follow the schematic diagram and run
continuity checks from the connector pins to every other point that they are
shown to connect with in the schematic.  Should you find any that are open
(when they should be connected) it is a simple matter to connect between
those points with a bit of No. 26 or 30 wire - it should work just as well
as a brand new board when you are finished.
