They must have taken the noise blanker design from the transceiver
whose name refers to an aircraft commonly known as the A7-D.
(an otherwise incredible rig...)

The K1's NB is no slouch either.  My K1 does most of its work mobile
and the NB is extremely effective on ignition noise.
