The keys are:

	use call/VE7

	identify nearest landmark, town or island, on each transmission [easier 
said on phone than cw - on cw I send  Gulf Isls if on one of them, for 
example; on fone, I say "N7MQ port VE7 on Galiano Island or 
wherever].  Just try to follow the spirit of the rules.

and go to two of the Industry Canada websites to get  copies of the exact 
rules.

I keep these copie with me when go across the border, with radio, ants etc, 
and with me at the cabin when I operate.  I also take the ORIGINAL of  my 
US license and a copy of the RAC pages - nice little booklet.

No problems over the years.
