[Elecraft] K-2 SSB Vox Lockup

Hi Elecraft Crafters:

    I have a small problem with the VOX operation of my K-2's.  When
placed in VOX operation, the rig remains keyed after I quit talking. It
does this no matter what microphone I use. If I put the rig in VOX mode,
and simply bring the PTT line to ground, the rig remains keyed also. 
It's almost like the VOX detector, U4A needs a pull-up resistor. The PTT
operation is 100% correct.  I have done some searching of the ARCHIVES
as well as the Elecraft site, and I have so far found nothing that would
address this little glitch. 

   Anyone have an idea or two to try before I hit up Gary at Tech
support?
